    General Policy on crutches, wheelchairs, and other medical devices.
    Students must have a written request from a licensed health care provider and parent/guardian signature for conditions requiring crutches, wheelchairs, and other medical devices prescribed when accommodations for a diagnosed medical condition are necessary during the school day.
    The clinic is opened during regular school hours (8:00 am to 3:30 pm).  The following items are used in the clinic for treatment:
      Bactine, antibiotic ointment, first-aid cream, alcohol, hygrogen peroxide, isotoniceye solution, saline contact solution, throat spray, calamine lotion.
    **If your child is sick the night before or in the morning of school, please do not send them to school.  Most likly they won't make it and they will expose all their classmates to the illness.


    • Nurse's judgment or parental discretion
    • Fever over 100 orally within 24hr
    • Active vomiting within 24hr
    • Diarrhea within 24hr
    • Swollen or painful joints from injury
    • Severe earache
    • Suspected contagious diseases (until on treatment for 24 - 48hrs)
      • chicken pox
      • conjunctivitis (pink eye) with drainage
      • pediculosis (head lice)
      • scabies
      • undiagnosed rashes
      • and other
    • Injury or illness requiring further immediate treatment
    • Suspected substance abuse
    • Preschoolers: continual yellow or green drainage from nose
