Kiddie Hawks Announcements
Closed until further notice.
When SCPS returns we will also. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
We will load the registration application on March 1.
There are some changes coming and they will be an adjustment.
Children 3-5 will be able to attend a Montessori based program that will meet on tues-wed-thurs each week. Hours to be determined as we get farther into the high school schedules for next year. This change is to allow our high school students to have more time to study and understand the ECE Theories and curriculm development. We are looking at the program becoming a GCC credited diploma program and are making these changes. NSHS made these changes a couple years ago so we have held on to our second class much longer but now is the time. This will limit our enrollment somewhat. Our current children in the two day program will move up which will give us a head start on filling. We will be allowing children to attend two years both of them in the three day program which will benefit many.
We look forward to the new structure and hope that we will be able to share more as we get closer to registration.
Kiddie Hawk Preschool
The Mission of the Kiddie Hawk Program is to create a rich and stimulating, child centered environment using developmentally appropriate teaching strategies that incorporate individual, small and whole group instruction in an experiential, center-based setting. Each child will be valued for his/her uniqueness and learning style. Student teachers will strive to provide the children with those ingredients needed to build a solid foundation as each child evolves into a lifelong learner.
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM- For High School Students

The high school students focus on providing a safe healthy learning environment; promoting physical intellectual, social, and emotional development; promoting positive and productive relationships with families; and maintaining a commitment to Professionalism.
