Mr. Robert Bingham

Principal

Mr. Robert Bingham was named Principal in the summer of 2013.  He has been with H. H. Poole since October of 2003 when he was named the Asst. Principal. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from James Madison University in 1993, where he majored in History and Education. Mr. Bingham began teaching 7thgrade History with Fairfax County Public Schools in 1994. While working in the county, Mr. Bingham earned his Masters Degree in Administration from George Mason University. He moved into a Middle School Assistant Principal’s position while in Fairfax County. After 10 years in Fairfax he moved to his current position here at H. H. Poole Middle School. Mr. Bingham is married and has two children who attend school in Stafford County. Mrs. Bingham is the Asst. Principal at Conway Elementary School.

Mr. Andrew Aversa

 Assistant Principal
 
 Mr. Andrew Aversa began his career as a teacher in New York where he taught for 4 years.  After that time, he moved with his wife to Stafford, VA in 2007 where he taught at Park Ridge Elementary and at Stafford Middle School.  After 10 years of teaching elementary and middle school, he was named Assistant Principal at Shirley Heim Middle School in 2013.  In October 2016, Mr. Aversa was promoted to the 12 month Assistant Principal position at H.H. Poole Middle School.  Mr. Aversa earned his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from St. Joseph's College in New York.  He also earned his Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist from Long Island University.  In 2010, Mr. Aversa earned his Post-Master's in Administration and Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University as well as his certificate in Middle School English.  He is married with two young children.  His wife is currently a Special Education teacher at Stafford Elementary School.

Mrs. Amy Limerick

Assistant Principal

 

Mrs. Amy D. Limerick has proudly taught in Stafford County for nine years.  After graduating from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree, and completing a Career Switcher program, she began teaching English at Dixon-Smith Middle School in 2007.  During her tenure at Dixon-Smith, Mrs. Limerick was an active leader on the school’s leadership team and in the anti-bullying program, and served as the English Department Chair for five years.  She facilitated a variety of school and county level professional development courses as well.  As a result of her leadership experiences and passion for education, Mrs. Limerick earned her Master of Educational Leadership degree from the University of Mary Washington in 2015.  This is her first appointment as an assistant principal.  She and her family reside in Stafford County.
