Check Out a Chromebook and/or Mobile Wireless Hotspot for At-Home Usage

  • Check Out a Wireless Hotspot from our Library Students who need a Chromebook and/or mobile wireless hotspot for at-home educational usage can check out these devices from our school library!  A parent/guardian permission form must be completed and be on file before a student can check out either one of the devices.  These devices may be checked out for up to one month at a time.

The check out procedure is fast and easy, just like checking out a library book!  Before you can check out a Chromebook or mobile wireless hotspot, be sure to follow the steps below:

    Step 1:

Complete the parental/guardian permission form.  The form can be downloaded and completed.  It must be signed by a parent/guardian, as well as the selection(s) of which device(s) you can check out.

    Step 2:

Return the completed permission form to your library and turn the form in to a librarian.  A courtesy e-mail message will be sent to the e-mail address in our student information system for the parent/guardian who is listed on the form each time a device is checked out, including which device was checked out.

    Step 3:

Return the device(s) by the due date so other students can check out the device(s).  If you need the device again, you can check it out if the device(s) are available.

Learn how to use the wireless hotspot here.  The Kajeet SmartSpot 900 4G LTE is called SCPSMOBILE on your wireless device from the list of available wireless networks.  The wireless password is stafford.
