Academic Awards and Recognition
Academic achievement is an important part of the schools' instructional program. Brooke Point High School takes pride in honoring those students who maintain high academic achievement during the school year.
Recognition for special achievement is based on the following criteria:
Brooke Point Academic Letter:
To receive the an academic award recognition, students must accumulate a grade point average of 3.8 or above over five semesters and those students with a 4.0 or above are recognized for distinguished academic achievement. For those students achieving a 3.8 or above GPA with less than five semesters, they will be recognized with an academic achievement certificate.
Department awards and other scholastic awards are given based on individual student achievement.
All recognition for student achievement is done at the end of the school year during a special ceremony for students and their parents.
