The counseling department has small groups available for our students here at Barrett! Participation in small groups is optional. Small groups are led by the school counselors, Ms. Pearce and Mrs. Folk! Small groups can be an effective way to help students be more successful in school, where their successes are more than just academic but social and emotional as well. Students wil have the opportunity to work on establishing postivie relationships with peers and adults, developing empathy for others, and learn and develop coping skills for stressful and overwhelming situations.
