Mrs. Cynthia Rutledge

Hi everyone, my name is Cyndy Rutledge and this will be my third year of teaching at Moncure Elementary and with Stafford County Public Schools. I moved here from Appleton, Wisconsin and have been teaching for 22 years. I am a licensed K-12 special education teacher and have taught in high school, middle school, and/or elementary school in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and now Virginia. I love kids and believe we all have many things to teach each other.

I grew up and attended school in Houston, Texas. I moved to Davis, California to attend University of California to earn a Bachelor of Science degree. Then later moved to Fairfax, Virginia, attended George Mason University, and earned a Master of Education in Special Education.

My husband and I were foster parents to three children, one was adopted by his grandmother and now lives in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Another was able to return to his mother and is now living in Chicago, Illinois finishing high school. The oldest, a girl, graduated from high school five years ago. She is now living and working in Neenah, Wisconsin. David and I have been married for 28 years and have a fluffy black cat named Jasmine, and two crazy kittens named Mouse and Meeko. All five of us are Green Bay Packer Fans!!
