  • CFHS SAT Prep Class

    We will once again be offering SAT prep class sessions.  There will be sessions to prepare for the the following test dates.  November 4th, March 10th, and May 5th.  It is $140 per session with all materials provided.  It is the responsibility of the student to register on-line for the SAT test, at the college board website.  Click here to download the prep class registration form.

    October 18th from 6:30-8:30 pm, there will be a college fair held at the Spotsylvania Towne Center for students and parents to attend.  You can go to www.collegefair.com to register.  Click here to view the flier with the list of schools that have already confirmed.

  • Schedule Changes and Form

     

    If you are wanting to change your schedule please complete this form and turn into the counseling office or  email your counselor.  You cannot change your schedule except,  for an error or incomplete schedule.  Request to change teachers will not be granted for a schedule change.  Appointments with counselors will only be scheduled for errors and incomplete schedules.  Please fill the attached form out with a parents signature and return to counseling.  Click here for the form.

  • The Society of Women Engineers at the University of Virginia for High School Students

    This program gives young women a comprehensive look at engineering fields and at UVA's engineering curriculum through informative speakers and hands-on design activities.  The fall session is for high school seniors, however, sophomore and juniors may apply.  Click here to learn more.

  • AP Fee Deadline

    AP Test fees this year are $94, with the exception of AP Capstone and AP Computer Science Principles which is $142.  All students are expected to pay by the deadline of November 3, 2017.  Students and parents signed AP contracts last year ackowleding this fee.  If you have any questions please contact the counseling office.

  • Attention All Young Men...
    Do you want to keep your driver's license and be eligible for college loans, job training, government jobs, and citizenship if you're an immigrant?

     Then make sure you register with Selective Services within a month of your 18th birthday!

    Federal law says that you must register.  If you don't, you miss out on all of these opportunities and more.  Don't let that happen to you!  It's quick and easy to register.  It only takes minutes to register online by clicking here or you can register at the post office.

    Ask your guidance counselor for more information, and make sure you remember to register.  Future opportunities depend on it!
