  • Yearbook and Underclassmen Photo Dates Announcement! Updates coming soon!

Underclassmen - freshmen, sophomore, and junior - portrait dates are set! To set up an appointment, go to (coming soon!) and pick a time for your student to snag a spot to get their photo done (both for you to order and for us to put in the yearbook!). The dates are:
    Coming soon!
All photos will be done with social distancing and guidelines for safety. Everyone will enter through the front door, have masks on, and get their temperatures taken before fully entering the school. Please be mindful of parking on the side of the building where the student lot is (until after 4 when the front lot becomes empty). For questions, please contact Mrs. Riner at the email offered below.
The last senior photo make up day is Tuesday, January 5 - so get a spot for that if you need it by checking out Lifetouch at PrestigePortraits.com  FOR INFORMATION ON THIS COMING SOON!
Grab your phone or your camera, and when you're done, share your photos with us! So far, we've gotten some great photos of you that show your spirit here at Mountain View, and we want more! Go to www.hjeshare.com and use the code maroonandorange (please note it's all lowercase) and send us photos for potential publication in the yearbook! We need photos of all classes - freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. We need action shots, holiday pics, and the students wearing/showing the latest trends. We cannot wait to see what you have! The Cat's Eye reserves the right to publish the photos most appropriate for the book.
Guess what? This year, we have a special contest that juniors and seniors can participate in! It's called the Rachel Rafferty Memorial Photo Contest, and we're able to offer it to all juniors and seniors this year! Attached you will find the flyer and the parent consent form with all the details your student will need to enter the contest! Here are the materials: Contest Information and Consent Form
Senior Ads: To order your senior ad, you will have to complete it online. Please go to www.yearbookordercenter.com and use the code 13338 OR enter our school name. From there you can create your senior's ad. If you need help, there are skilled tech people who can guide you, who specifically work with parents to make these ads! Just call 866-287-3096 to get them on the phone. Senior ad deadline is January 15, 2021. Last day to send in an outside senior portrait photo is now January 15, 2021 as well.
The yearbook pose choice deadline is January 30 - if you want to choose the yearbook pose that goes in the book, you'll have until the end of January. All yearbook staffers then approve all poses.
Senior Portraits from a Outside Studio
Senior Portraits which are taken at an outside studio must be sent to the school by January 15.

We would prefer to have the portraits sent to the yearbook staff as a digital file. The portrait must be in a formal outfit with a blue-gray background. It must be at least wallet size and at least 300 dpi.  Some studios will send all the Mountain View portraits on one CD. Please check and make sure the studio, in which you get your portrait done, knows to send their CD to me at Mountain View High School. You can email the digital file to rinerem@staffordschools.net.  You can also send a wallet size color print if you do not have a digital file.
