BANNER SALE 2023
Order a Class of 2023 Graduation Banner for your Senior! These banners will be displayed around our football stadium during the graduation ceremony on Friday, May 19, 2023. You will also be able to display this banner at home or at your upcoming graduation events following our Graduation Ceremony. To order, you must download and complete the Graduation Banner Order Form, submit a graduation picture to Lisa Zawoiski, and complete your payment no later than Friday, April 28, 2023.

Payment may be made with cash or by utilizing our online payment system. To pay online, please select the link below for the banner size that you wish to purchase. You must still download and complete the Graduation Banner Order Form and submit a graduation picture.

Procession will begin at approximately 6:45 PM
A.J. Slye Memorial Stadium at North Stafford High School
Please note the following:- For the Ceremony:
- Graduates should arrive at 5:30 PM and enter the school through Door 25 (Library-Side Bus Ramp)
- Graduates will check-in and then report to their designated classroom
- Stadium gates will open at 5:30 PM for spectators
- The number of guests is not limited unless the event is moved indoors
Service animals are permitted to attend the event. Please do not bring non-service animals to this event.

Graduation Ceremony Operating Status

An updated graduation ceremony operating status will be made available in this section. The operating status will be changed from On Time to Delayed with an anticipated delayed start date and time. Please monitor this Web page closely for the current graduation ceremony operating status in the event that severe weather postpones the event.
Senior Awards Ceremony
-
The Senior Awards Ceremony will be held at TBD in our high school's gymnasium. Students receiving an award will be provided with an invitation to the awards ceremony and information specific to the event. This event will be open to invited students and their families. We will live stream the event via our North 6 News webpage and follow up with a closed caption recording by the end of May.

The Baccalaureate Service, sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), will be held at TBD. This is a combined event that includes students from all five division high schools. The location will be rotated to a different high school each year.
Baccalaureate is a one-hour religious service honoring the graduating class. During the service, an address in the form of a sermon is delivered by a respected leader in the religious community. This is an optional event and is not required.
Honor Graduate Regalia

Honors Graduate Regalia will be handed to students during graduation practice on TBD. This will include the following items:

Graduation caps and gowns (for seniors who have not yet picked up these items)

Honors regalia (including stoles and tassels)
Please note that senior dues should be paid prior to receiving the cap and gown. We are unable to collect payment at the bus ramp distribution site; therefore, we ask that you please access our online service and select the “Senior Class Dues." We look forward to seeing you soon!

Distinguished Honor Graduates:
GPA Threshold: 4.0-4.249
Regalia: Honor Stole and White Tassel
Summa Cum Laude Graduates:

Graduation Practice & Cap and Gown Class Picture

Graduation practice is mandatory for all seniors participating in the graduation ceremony. Graduates MUST bring their cap and gown to practice! Graduation practice and the senior class cap and gown picture will be held on TBD. Students should arrive no later than TBD for graduation practice. Students will meet at the AJ Slye Memorial Stadium. All dues and debts must be paid in full prior to participating in graduation practice. Uniforms must also be returned.
Senior Picnic

Our Senior Picnic will be held following graduation practice and Senior Class Cap and Gown Picture at the A.J. Slye Memorial Stadium on TBD. All seniors who have paid their class dues are invited to attend this event.
Items that May be Taken into the Graduation Ceremony

Our guests are allowed to bring the following items into the ceremony:
- Water (glass bottles are prohibited)
- Water will NOT be available at the ceremony!
- Food
- Food will NOT be available at the ceremony!
- Purses/handbags
- Video and flash photography capturing devices
- Jackets and/or light blankets (for a possible cool morning)
Our guests are prohibited from bringing the following items into the ceremony:- Noise making devices or tools to disrupt the ceremony
- Tobacco and vaping products
- Alcohol
- Weapons
- Umbrellas
- Balloons
- All other items that would obstruct the view of others
All items brought into the ceremony may be subject to search by school officials and/or Sheriff deputies.

We welcome all of our guests, Wolverine families, and our graduating seniors to our campus!
Please expect heavy pedestrian traffic on our campus and plan accordingly for traffic delays.
Graduation Questions and Answers

How Do I Find My Student After Graduation?
Posted by:After the ceremony is over, graduates will report back to the school. Students will recieve their diplomas in the classroom after graduation. Diplomas will be made available on Monday, May 22, 2023, in the Counseling Center for students who do not attend a graduation ceremony.
Guests will not be allowed to enter the school building.Remind your graduating student that their cell phone must be "silenced" during the ceremony, but may be used after the ceremony is over to assist with locating family members.

Speed Limit | 15 MPH
Maintain a safe speed of 15 MPH or less at all times while on our campus roadways and in our parking lots. Expect heavy pedestrian traffic.
Graduating Senior Parking
Graduating Senior Students will park in the Student Lot. Students must park all the way in the back of the student parking lot to allow for guest parking in the front of the parking lot. Graduating Senior Students must arrive before at the times specified above.Guest Parking
Guest Parking for our Wolverine Families and guests is located in any area marked with a "P." Parking for only Handicap vehicles is located behind the Football Field and is indicated in the map above.Parking officials will be available on campus directing the flow of traffic to all parking lots.
An Overflow Lot will be used when all other parking locations are at capacity.
Parking is forbidden in "No Parking Zones" to allow for proper traffic flow patterns.
Ceremony Postponement Policy and Dress Code

Graduation Ceremony Postponement Policy
The graduation ceremony will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 7:00 PM.
In the event of light rain with no threat of thunder, lightning, or heavy downpour, the ceremonies will proceed as scheduled in the stadium. In the event of severe weather, graduation ceremonies will be delayed. If the graduation ceremony has to be delayed beyond the scheduled date, the make-up day will be Saturday, May 20, 2023. Delay updates will be sent through social media, email, school website, and a robocall. *Please note: if we have to move the ceremony indoors, the number of guests will be limited to 6 per graduate.Dress Code
Our graduation ceremony displays the great achievements of our students on this special day for them. An appropriate dress code for our guests will be requested.
We ask our guests to carry out a business casual dress code. This dress code allows for a variety of styles from khaki shorts and pants to a complete suit for males or a light spring dress for females.
Please use your best judgment when determining the appropriate dress. Please also consider possible humid weather conditions and temperatures for May.
Jeans and t-shirts are discouraged from being worn.
Graduating Senior Dress Code
The attire that should be worn underneath the cap and gown of our graduating seniors is the following:
Ladies:- A dark dress or dress pants and blouse; dark dress shoes (flats or wedges)
Gentlemen:
- Dark dress pants; white collared shirt; tie (optional); dark dress shoes
Flip-flops or sandals are not allowed to be worn. Please keep in mind that the graduating senior will be walking on grassy areas and ladies are encouraged to wear flat shoes or wedges.
The graduation gown may not be altered in any way. If any changes are made to the gown, the changes will have to be removed before the ceremony or the graduate will not be able to participate.
