5th Grade November Newsletter
We finished out an amazing first quarter here in fifth grade! The students have experienced a Jurassic excursion in science class. They are continuing this unit in November. In Social Studies class we are jumping into the Colonial period of America and creating music videos to show our knowledge! We enjoyed seeing so many families at Literacy Night and the various spirit nights at restaurants! It is so vital to have a strong relationship between school and home. Open lines of
communication are crucial. We are committed to working together to develop our curriculum, unit activities, and assessments that are designed to maximize learning for every student. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments please do not hesitate to ask us. Study habits are a skill that must be taught and practiced both at school and at home. This is very important!!!
*It is also essential that the students continually practice math facts and read every night.*
