We have officially finished one quarter of the school year. It has been busy and we still have a lot of work to do this school year. Thank you for taking the time to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss your child’s first quarter report card. The holidays are approaching; please remember it is important to be at school every day.
Learning Letters: Please practice naming letters in the alphabet and making its sound. Kindergarten students are expected to identify the letters of the alphabet and sound. This is an important skill in reading and writing.
Report Cards: Report cards went home Friday, October 18, 2019. Please review, sign the orange card, and return in the envelope provided. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.
Fun Run: Please help our school raise money. Your child will get a free house shirt just by registering. Please go to www.getmovinfundhub.com Each child is encouraged to raise $50.00.
Property: It is your child’s responsibility to keep track of their belongings. Please consider your child’s teacher has 23 students in the classroom, it is impossible to keep track of every child’s things. It is important to teach independence and accountability to your child in keeping track of their own things.
Weather: As the weather starts to get colder, please dress your child appropriately. We go outside every day and your child needs a warm jacket to play comfortably.
Turkey in Disguise Family Project: Your child will complete their first project at home hiding a turkey! Turkeys will be going home next week.

Please return all conference forms as soon as possible as well as mark if an interpreter is needed for your conference. If an interpreter is needed, your child’s teacher must coordinate with an interpreter’s schedule. It is a process and your patience is appreciated.
