• Welcome to Ms. Gearhart's Class!

    I am so very excited to begin this year and get to know the new 5th grade families!

    Throughout the weeks and school year ahead, I will update this website to keep all parties informed on what is going on in our classroom, as well as assignments that are sent home. 

    I have created a ClassDojo which we can communicate through (along with email). The codes will be available at Open House and will also be sent home on the first day of school. Please make sure to join our ClassDojo to stay up to date on homework, quizzes, tests, and what is going on in the classroom.

    Please be sure to send in the contents of the yellow folder by Friday, August 16th.

     I hope you are all as ready as I am to have a FANTASTIC year!

    Reading: Asking questions when reading; Main Idea/supporting details

    Language Arts: Writing process, complete and fragment sentences

    History: Geography

    Science: Scientific Investigations 5.1

  • Throughout the year I will be posting homework and various things that happen in our class on our ClassDojo Story. This is a private sharing media which only parents and students in my class can see. Our ClassDojo is only accessible by the code sent home with your children. If you need a code, please contact me via email. You may also send me messages and other notes via Class Dojo.
