Hello families!
We have had a wonderful year so far. Life has thrown us a curveball and we are now entering a time of at home learning. Please know that I am on this voyage with you and we will navigate it together! Stay up to date with ClassDojo and Google Classroom. Make sure to contact me through ClassDojo or email if you have any issues.
It's springtime! Take time every day to enjoy the great outdoors. It has much to offer. Try to find something new or different, or come up with a question. We can chat about it in our Google Classroom and see if the rest of the class has something to add! Let's make this a time of learning and discovery! Before we know it, summer will be here and each of you will move on to the world of middle school!
As a closing thought, I want to say it has been my privilege to work with all of these amazing students and their families this year. We still have the fourth quarter and I am looking forward to communicating with you, finding out what and how you are learning and growing, and getting to enjoy everyone's ideas and sense of humor in a different way. I miss you all!
Hello and welcome to 5th Grade!
We are going to have a magical year in Room 107! Our classroom theme for the year stems from Hogwarts and it's legendary houses. The student's of Mrs. Lentz's FAB 5th graders have been sorted into the house of Ravenclaw.
To quote the sorting hat,
"Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw, if you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind.
Just as in the Ravenclaw House, our class will treasure the traits of intelligence, wit, wisdom, creativity, originality, individuality, and acceptance. Such incredible and brilliant traits for one to have! I cannot wait to see each and every one of you hard at work and play. Let's have a truly magical year and explore all of the learning and fun that the 2019/2020 year has to offer. Once again, welcome!
