Third Grade Wildcat Families,
As you may have heard by now, Stafford County has decided to close for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year. We hope that you are safe and healthy. We miss you dearly! We are all about to embark on a journey that is new to all of us. Stafford County has provided families with online resources and instructional activities on their webpage: https://www.staffordschools.net/Page/29182. These are entirely optional and will not be graded.
Beginning next week, third grade will be posting learning activities on Google Classroom. These activities will enrich and further the learning that took place during the school year. Dreambox and Istation remain tools that can be accessed from home. These programs provide differentiated instruction for your students.
The third grade teachers will be available to students and parents via Google Classroom, Google Meet, Remind, etc. every week day from 1 to 3pm. If you would like to speak to us on the phone, please email us and we will return your call. We will answer your questions and concerns as best we can since we are waiting for guidance on how to proceed with instruction. Once we are instructed as to what the expectation is for the rest of the school year, we will be communicating with students through their Google Classroom.
We are sorry that we don't have more details for you at this time, but we hope that we will have more information in the next week or so. Please have your student check Google Classroom for class announcements, and your classroom teacher’s webpage for additional information.
