Welcome to Conway Elementary School!
We are here to help make your transition to our school as easy and comfortable as possible. Our Conway School Counselors conduct New Cougar groups for all new students at the beginning of each year. Throughout the year, we meet new students and their families upon their first day of school and are available for any questions or concerns.
We have a strong commitment to supporting our military connected students. We have programs throughout the year specifically for recognizing the sacrifices and contributions you make. We have a wonderful Veteran’s Day program. You will receive information about this year’s event and how you can participate and be recognized. In April, we celebrate the Month of the Military Child with a Hall of Heroes and we “Purple Up” on the national recognition day. Additionally, if you and your child(ren) are experiencing a deployment, please let us know. We will help support these students and may offer a deployment group if there is a need. We are fortunate to be able to work in conjunction with our military school liaison for our military connected students. The Military School Liaison Officer from Quantico can be accessed through the link School Liaison Program. They are a great resource in helping us support our military kids!
Make sure to enroll in the Conway Counseling departments email mailing list--we send information about our school programs as well as from our military partners and the FOCUS programs at Quantico.
Lisa Snow is the school-based military student support point of contact for Conway Elementary and Carrie Neeley is the school division point of contact.
Please let us know if there is anything you need. You can reach Mrs. Snow through email at: snowlm@staffordschools.net or by phone at 540-361-1455.
