IB Announcements

  • IB Exams May 2020 - cancelled

By this time you know that all IB exams are cancelled for the May 2020 session.  More information will be forthcoming as to any options you may have for the future.  But please know that:

    • Your hard work is not in vain!  You will still earn a score for your IB courses -- based on your IA score, your teacher's predicted grade for you (what s/he believes you would have earned on the exams based on their experience with you), and IB's robust data analytics.
    • IB is communciating with universities around the world to ensure they know these scores will be authentic.
    • Go to ibo.org to be updated on IB's plans.
    • Still no word on refunds -- but the changes will cost IB $$ and thus refunds are not a guarantee.

  • Do I need to pay for my IB exam(s) this year?

IB exam fees are paid in the fall of the year the exam is given.  So students pay for 1-year IB course exams and Year 2 of 2-year course exams in September of each year.  Full IB Diploma students do not pay for ToK/EE/CAS.  Payment plans will be made available in September.

Click here for details on courses that test this year.

  • IB Exam Scores / Results for May 2019

Scores became accessible July 6; your login information was provided on a lime green sheet in April, and you should have taken a photo of it AND emailed it to yourself.  If you did not do this or can't locate it, read the detailed email sent to you in late June by Mrs. Stemple-Hoover (sent only to those who responded to the results form) OR contact Mrs. Ayers (formally Ms. Ludwick) in Counseling (ayershk@staffordschools.net) or Mrs. Stemple-Hoover via email.
