Hello! My name is Madalyn Rymer and I am overjoyed to be teaching Kindergarten at Kate Waller Barrett. I've moved around all my life but claim Strongsville, Ohio as my hometown where my mom, dad, and three younger sisters still live. I'm proud to call Fredericksburg my new home! 

Besides education, swimming is the love of my life. I've swam since I was ten years old through my four years at the University of Mary Washington. I currently coach for the Little Rocky Run Stingrays in Fairfaax, VA over the summers. 

I graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Master's of Science in Elementary Education. I'm proud to have been a part of a local education program and look forward to helping future students to find their passion in elementary education. I am excited for everything this year will bring!
