Empowerment is essential for Middle School students as they learn to navigate the complex world of social norms, friends, family, and education. During these years, students develop a deeper sense of self and learn how to advocate for themselves and others. Empowerment is the foundation of that development. The Drew Empowered Learners focuses on developing confidence in core subjects, exploring career opportunities, academic enrichment, and exploring student led projects. The program will include a variety of activities including but not limited to:
- Academic Enrichment/Tutoring in core subjects
- Asynchronous English and Math VSOL Standards
- The Arts and Music Education through Cultural Awareness
- Physical Education, Recreational Activities and MIndfulness Workshops
- STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math
- Project Based Learning
- Career Exploration
Our goal as Empowered Learners is to connect the dots of information in our classes and in our world to create whole brain thinkers for tomorrow.

Who?
This program is designed to utilize your students current knowledge and expand that with Academic Enrichment, Stem, and various student led activities. If your student loves to learn and wants to expand their educational tool box this is for them!
