• Welcome to Grafton Village Elementary School!  We know that not all families are blood related and at Grafton Village, we want to be a part of your family.

We are here to help make your transition to our school as easy as possible. Our Counselors conduct  student groups for all new students at the beginning of each year. We often have new students throughout the school year and meet with them their first day and continue to check in on them through the year.

We are very committed to supporting our military connected students. We have programs throughout the year that celebrate our military and their families. In April, we celebrate the Month of the Military Child and we “Purple Up” on the national recognition day. Additionally, if you and your child(ren) are experiencing a deployment, please let us know.   We will help support these students and may offer a deployment group if there is a need. We are fortunate to be able to work in conjunction with our military school liaison for our military connected students. The Military School Liaison Officer from Quantico is Penny Rowley and she can be reached at penny.rowley@usmc-mccs.org.  She is a great resource.  Our SCPS resource person is Sandra Osborn and she can be reached at osbornpeterssk@staffordschools.net.

Amy Pisciotta, our school nurse, is our point of contact for military families here at GVES.  She can reached by calling 540-373-5454 or by email, pisciottaae@staffordschools.net
