Stafford County's Gifted and Accelerated Program

The mission of Stafford County Focus program is to provide services for academically gifted students.  At the elementary school level, students identified as requiring gifted services are cluster-grouped within otherwise heterogeneously grouped classes.  As Focus Resource Teacher, I will meet regularly with identified students and work closely with teachers in meeting student academic needs.  As the Gifted Resource teacher at MBES, I strive to provide enrichment opportunities to all Bobcats through Math Challenge and Word Masters Challenges, collarborative lessons, and extra-curricular clubs, such as Chess Club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and STEM club for grades 2-5.
