Educational Supplements

At Stafford County Public Schools, we strive to offer competitive salaries for both licensed and service staff. Licensed professionals—teachers, counselors, social workers, and other non-administrative roles requiring a Virginia Board of Education license—are compensated based on the Teacher Salary Scale and credited years of experience. Additionally, those with advanced education beyond a Bachelor's degree may qualify for an educational supplement. To apply for this additional compensation, complete the Educational Supplement Request Form for Licensed Staff.

Please note the following information regarding the submission of your Educational Supplement requests:

• Stafford County Public Schools will process Educational Supplement requests as soon as the request and official transcripts are received. It is the responsibility of those eligible to make sure all documentation required for the salary upgrade is received by the Human Resources Department to meet the following deadlines:
  • Submission and verification received before the 15th of the month, will be processed and included in your next month's pay.
  • Submission and verification received after the 15th of the month, will be processed and included in the following month's pay.
  • Submissions on April 7, 2024 or later will be processed and be effective during the 2024-2025 school year.
