Stafford Schools is committed to ensuring a learning and working environment free from sex-based discrimination and secual harassment, as required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX).

Policy 4907: This policy and its supporting regulations establish the rules and processes that protect individuals—including students, employees, and others—from sexual harassment and discrimination in all the school board’s education programs and activities. The requirement not to discriminate extends to admission and employment.

Areas that Title IX may cover:

  • Unwelcome sexual comments, jokes, or gestures that are severe, pervasive and objectively offense
  • Sharing or showing inappropriate images or messages
  • Pressure for sexual favors in exchange for grades or privileges
  • Unwanted touching of a sexual nature
  • Dating violence, domestic violence, or stalking

How to Report a Concern:

  • Anyone—students, parents, or staff—can report concerns through any of these ways:
  • Talk to your school principal or assistant principal

  • Submit a Report of Harassment form online or in print
