Employment Verifications for Current and Former Employees
For requests related to employment verification, file requests, or any forms requiring signatures, please complete the following process:
Submission Guidelines:

All requests must include an authorized signature (digital signatures accepted) from the current or former employee.

Stafford County Public Schools does not disclose performance evaluations to anyone besides the employee.
Current Employees:
- To request an employment verification letter, please complete the form. Additional authorization is needed for Public Service Loans and financial institutions (e.g., mortgage lenders).
Former Employees:
- Former employees can obtain an employment verification letter by completing the form. This includes out-of-state verifications for sexual misconduct or background checks.
Request Processing:
- Completed forms should be submitted below. You will receive a confirmation email.
- Employment verification letters are typically issued within 1-2 business days; processing may extend to 3-4 days during peak periods. Duplicate requests may delay responses.
Financial Institution Requests:
- Employment and salary verifications requested by financial institutions require an authorized signature and confirmed information from the employee. Please include the last four digits of the social security number and full name (including any former names) to expedite processing.
Loan Forgiveness Requests:
- For Public Service Loan Forgiveness Forms, Teacher Loan Forgiveness Applications, and ED.gov Grants, save all forms as readable PDFs before submitting the form. Ensure all forms are complete with the required details to avoid processing delays.
