Student Teachers and Practicums
Stafford Schools is proud to support the next generation of educators through meaningful student teaching, practicum, and observation opportunities. We believe in investing in future teachers by providing hands-on experiences that reflect the high expectations, strong relationships, and community spirit that define our schools.
If you are a university or college placement coordinator, please complete the 2025–2026 Student Teacher / Practicum / Observation Request Form on behalf of your student. Individual students should connect with their school’s placement office to begin the process of securing a placement within Stafford County Public Schools.
To be considered, your university must have a current Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on file with Stafford Schools. If you are unsure whether an MOU is in place, please contact Latoya Mason, Human Resources Generalist, at masonlm@staffordschools.net before submitting a request.
Looking ahead to the 2025–2026 school year, Stafford Schools will primarily offer in-person placements. However, we continue to recognize the value of virtual practicum and observation experiences and will offer limited opportunities for those formats as well.
Together, let’s prepare and empower future educators for success.
