Wellness Policy

Stafford County Public Schools is committed to the optimal development of every student. In order for students to achieve personal, academic, developmental, and social success, learning environments that are positive, safe and health-promoting must be created at every level and in every setting throughout the school year.

This regulation outlines the division’s approach to ensure opportunities for all students to practice healthy eating and physical activity behaviors throughout the school day, while minimizing commercial distractions. This regulation applies to all students, staff, and schools in the division. Specific, measurable goals and outcomes are identified within each section below.

For complete information, please refer to School Board Regulation 3107-R.
