SchooLinks

SchooLinks is a modern, college and career readiness platform to prepare students for what comes after graduation. SchooLinks helps students discover their interests and strengths, explore colleges and careers, and create an individualized career and academic plan that best reflects their post-secondary goals. SchooLinks at Stafford Stafford is accessible in 3rd-12th grades by students and their parents.

Stafford Schools is offering SchooLinks to students in grades 3-5 to support the VDOE Requirement that every 3rd-5th grader completes an Academic and Career Plan Portfolio. Additionally, SchooLinks is the platform that all 8th and 10th graders will complete their required Academic and Career Plans. SchooLinks will be the platform that students use to research careers and establish future goals, and complete school counseling lessons. 

SchooLinks features are incredibly user-friendly and were designed to streamline the college and career readiness workflow for counselors and staff.

Using SchooLinks, students and families can:

  • Access career interest, strength and mindset surveys
  • Explore 2-year and 4-year colleges
  • Create course plans based on career pathways
  • Take virtual reality college campus tours
  • Search for scholarships
  • Learn about financial aid
  • Find internship and volunteer opportunities
  • Explore traditional, emerging and military career fields
  • Create digital portfolios / resumes
  • Communicate with counselors
  • Build their PCAP

Using SchooLinks, teachers, counselors and staff can:

  • Centralize all student info in one place (course plans, resumes, transcripts, scores, etc)
  • Track students’ college applications
  • Post internships, scholarships and career fairs
  • Send electronic transcripts and supporting documents
  • 3 way communication among students, parents, counselors

Student Login

  1. Students will login to SchooLinks via Clever and using their SCPS Google Account. 
  2. Then select the SchooLinks logo

Guardian/Parents Login

  1. Visit app.schoolinks.com to access the SchooLinks login page.  
  2. Sign in using one of the options below: 

    • Click Login with Google if the email you have on file with the district is a Google account. 

    • Click Forgot Password, enter the email you have on file with the district, then follow the email instructions to create a password

Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) 

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Waiver/Transcript Release Form (RT-10) is an essential part of our commitment to providing reliable and authorized academic records to students and authorized third parties, for example, to colleges or universities to which students apply. Senior families will complete the transcript release form as part of the Online Verification process.

Letter of Recommendation Selection

Yes, I waive

Your student waives their right to view the letters of recommendation from teachers and their school counselor. The letters remain confidential between the recommender and the college/university.

No, I do not waive

Your student does not waive their right to view the letters of recommendation from teachers and their school counselor. Your student has the right to review confidential letters of recommendation provided as part of their application after they enroll in the college/university.
