Specialty Centers of Stafford County Public Schools

  • Specialty Centers provide an opportunity for interested students to join a like-minded community, participating in specialized coursework and opportunities across multiple pathways designed to prepare them for life after high school in a potential future profession. Each Specialty Center is housed within a Stafford County high school.

    The Specialty Centers will:

    • Provide enhanced 4-year courses of study.
    • Preserve & integrate existing high school programs
    • Provide meaningful educational options & career pathways for every student.

    Beginning in Fall 2024, the following Specialty Centers are open for student enrollment:

    • Leadership, Education, and Public Service (LEAPS) Center at Mountain View High School
    • Engineering Professions and Industries of Construction (EPIC) Center at Stafford High School
    • Community Health and Medical Professions (CHAMP) Center at Brooke Point High School

    Information nights will be held for each center as follows:

    LEAPS Center Information Night
    Date: November 30
    Time: 6-8 p.m.
    Location: Mountain View High School

    EPIC Center Information Night
    Date: December 4
    Time: 6-8 p.m.
    Location: Stafford High School

    CHAMP Center Information Night
    Date: December 7
    Time: 6-8 p.m.
    Location: Brooke Point High School
