    NOTE TO PARENTS REGARDING THE PARENT MEETING & VOLUNTEERING:
    Your student has auditioned for PIPPIN– The Stafford High School Spring Musical. If he/she is cast, we ask that you attend the Parent Meeting on Thursday, March 9 at 7pm. The purpose of this meeting is to organize support for this production. Without the support of parents, we would be unable to provide great opportunities for students in theater at Stafford High School.

    PROGRAM ADVERTISEMENT SALES:
    An important fundraising component for the Stafford High School Theater Department is the sale of advertisement space in the program for our spring musical, PIPPIN. Therefore, cast and crew members of PIPPIN will be asked to sell THREE (3) Program Advertisements.

    PUBLICITY EXPECTATIONS:
    Students in the CAST & CREW will be expected to participate in promotional activities (hanging up posters, banners, etc.) on their own time. More details to come!

    REHEARSAL EXPECTATIONS:
    Students in the CAST & CREW will be expected to attend all rehearsals for which they are scheduled, which includes the date of prom on Saturday, April 15.

    REGULAR REHEARSALS: 

    There will be music rehearsals for the entire 
    Rehearsals begin for the full Cast and Stage Management on Monday, March 6. The full Stage Crew will begin attending rehearsals on Wednesday, March 22. 

    AFTER-SCHOOL REHEARSALS INCLUDE:

    Mondays & Wednesdays, February 13, 15, 27, and March 1 (2:15-3:45pm): Music Rehearsal for Cast
    Monday - Thursday, March 6-9 (2:15-5pm)
    Monday - Friday, March 20 - 31 (2:15-5pm)
    Monday - Thursday, April 3-6 (2:15-6pm)
    Tuesday - Friday, April 11-14 (2:15-6pm)

    NON-SCHOOL DAY REHEARSALS INCLUDE: 
    Saturday February 18 (10am-6pm) CANCELLED
    Saturday March 25 (10am-6pm)
    Saturday April 1 and 8 (10am-6pm)
    Monday, April 10 (10am-6pm)
    Saturday April 15 (9am-4pm)

    DRESS REHEARSALS: 
    Monday-Wednesday, April 17-19 (2:15- 7pm)
    Wednesday-Thursday, April 26-27 (2:15- 7pm) CANCELLED

    PERFORMANCES: 
    Thursday & Friday, April 20 & 21 (7pm)
    Saturday, April 22 (2pm & 7pm)

    NOTE: The production will end on April 22. There will not be a second weekend of performances due to scheduling issues.

    REGARDING SCHEDULING for the SPRING MUSICAL:
    All conflicts with the schedule should be reported on the Audition Form and the Student Participation and Parent Notification Form. Allowances may be made at the discretion of the directors for reasonable conflicts which are reported at a later date, such as medical appointments, which are not foreseeable at this time. Please avoid scheduling appointments or trips on the date of a Saturday rehearsal, or between March 22 - April 22, as these times are the most critical in the preparation of the play.

  • Stafford High School International Thespian Society Graduation Honor Cord Policy

    In order to be eligible for a Thespian Graduation Honor Cord, a student must be a member of the International Thespian Society AND participate in at leat one Stafford High School Theater production during their senior year. This can include acting in a play/musical, stage crew for a play/musical, house crew for ALL PERFORMANCES of a play/musical, and/or being a member of the improv team.
