    CALL-BACK AUDITIONS: Wednesday, January 25  (2:15pm-5pm)
Students will be invited to the Call-back Auditions based on the initial auditions.

    AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
    Auditions will consist of:

ACTING: Performance of an Audition Monologue. Students should practice these scenes prior to auditions. It is recommended that students read the character descriptions and synopsis to be familiar with the characters and story. They should also give thought as to which characters for which they are best suited. Students do not have to memorize these scenes, but should be very familiar with the text of the scenes.

MOVEMENT: Students will participate in very basic movement exercises and improvisations based on characters in the play.

DANCING: Students will be taught a basic dance combination at auditions. Time will be allowed to practice the routine, and then students will perform it in groups of 5 to 10 students at a time. (Dance experience is not necessary! We are looking to see how students learn dance steps.)

SINGING: Performance of the Audition Song. Students should prepare the audition song, "Magic To Do." The sheet music, practice track with vocals, and piano only accompaniment track are under The Stafford Players Files on this page.

STUDENTS SHOULD BE DRESSED TO MOVE AT AUDITIONS.

    MATERIALS FOR AUDITIONS:
Production Information, Character Descriptions, Story Synopsis, and Audition Monologues are available under The Stafford Players Files below this post.
