Health & Wellness Fair

  • Stafford Schools invites the community, school staff, students, and families to attend the 3rd Annual Community Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, January 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Colonial Forge High School. Entry is free, but a canned food donation is kindly encouraged. All donations will directly benefit those in need through S.E.R.V.E.

    The entire Stafford community, students, staff, and families are invited to attend the event. The Fair will provide valuable health information and screening services to staff and their families in a convenient format and location. Community health organizations and businesses will also be in attendance to share the available resources in Stafford County and the region. Attendees will enjoy free giveaways, school nutrition tastings, free health screenings, opportunities to learn life-saving techniques, and one-on-one conversations with local organizations and businesses in a convenient format and location.

    Free Wellness Initiatives:

    • Shoes for Kids: Children sizes only. First Come, First Serve. A guardian must be present. (Jenkins Donelson Foundation)
    • Books for Young Readers (ROSE Project)
    • Fueling Future Leaders: A Taste of Stafford Schools Nutrition

    Trainings & Health Screenings:

    • Blood Pressure (Germanna Community College)
    • Vision and Hearing (Aquia Evening Lions Club)
    • Hands-Only CPR (Gwyneth's Gift Foundation)
    • Stop the Bleed (Colonial Forge High School EMT Program and HOSA Club)
    • REVIVE! Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education Program (Virginia Department of Health)
