Open a Student Banking Account at Our High School
As a student at our high school, students have an exclusive opportunity to learn the value of saving, earning, and investing with a variety of student account options from Apple Federal Credit Union. Parents/guardians can help their child to develop an understanding of their financial responsibility. Students can simply open a student account at the Wolverine Branch of North Stafford High School’s student-run Apple Federal Credit Union.
Start your child on the right track with an eXtras Student Savings Account. It gives students the opportunity to make deposits and withdrawals, even right at our high school. Students will also learn about dividends and how a savings account can help them earn money.
With eXtras Student Savings, students enjoy a premium 2.00% APY* on balances up to $1,500.00. Additionally, there are no monthly service or minimum balance fees. A joint owner is not required for this account; however, it is available if you would like to be able to access the account.
Apple Federal Credit Union will make the first $5.00 starting deposit for all students who open an eXtras Student Savings Account. All you need to do is complete an application and return it to Ms. Darnell (darnellrl@staffordschools.net) in the Apple Federal Credit Union Wolverine Branch. For an application, point your Web browser to https://goo.gl/Suy3If. The Apple Federal Credit Union Wolverine Branch is open during all student lunch shifts and is located in the cafeteria.
Right now, students also have the opportunity to open an eXtras Student Checking Account and free eXtras Visa® Debit Card. Just like the savings account, there are no monthly service or minimum balance fees. To open this account, students need a joint owner, which would give parents/guardians the ability to help their child manage their finances.
Student accounts include free 24/7 access to Online and Text banking, as well as mobile apps for Android®, iPad®, iPhone®, and Kindle® devices, and numerous other benefits. For more information, point your Web browser to https://goo.gl/Suy3If.
