Freshman Transition and Back-to-School Curriculum Extravaganza Night
Get ready for an amazing evening with our combined Freshman Transition and Back-to-School Curriculum Extravaganza Night being held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM (Snow Date: Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM) at our high school.
Our current students and their families are invited to attend our Back-to-School Curriculum Extravaganza. You will have the opportunity to meet your student’s Spring Term teachers, learn about the courses to incorporate into your student’s schedule for next school year by visiting our department tables, and register for classes for the 2019-2020 school year in our open lab in the Library. The open lab begins at 6:30 PM. All academic departments, besides Career and Technical Education (CTE), will be located in the Commons. The CTE Department will be located in the Library Commons. You will also be able to meet our athletic coaches and activity team sponsors to see all that our high school has to offer. Athletic coaches and activity sponsors will be located in Gymnasium. Our Athletic Boosters will be selling spirit wear in the Gymnasium too! Our high school will also be selling refreshments throughout the evening to offer you dinner and dessert options.
Our rising freshmen students, Class of 2023, are invited to attend our Freshman Transition beginning with our opening session at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium. Please plan to arrive before 6:00 PM and come directly into the Auditorium. After the opening session, our freshmen students and their families can meet meet our teachers, coaches, sponsors, and student leaders. A simultaneous presentation in Spanish will be held in the Library at 6:00 PM.
An English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) session on how the program is designed will take place immediately following the opening session from 6:15 PM-6:30 PM in the Library’s Makerspace.
