Brooke Point Student Athlete of the Year

Stafford County Public Schools is pleased to announce that Brooke Point High School senior Jason Kaiser, Jr. is the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame Student-Athlete of The Year for 2018. Along with this recognition came a scholarship for $1,000.

Kaiser is a member of the Blackhawk wrestling and baseball teams, and is a state qualifier in wrestling. Along with his GPA of 4.62, he has earned numerous awards for his academic excellence, including the Virginia House of Delegates Academic Excellence Award and the National High School Coaches Association All-American Award.

Kaiser is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, and founder and president of the Future Conservative Leaders of America Club.

A member of the BPHS NJROTC program, Kaiser is currently the battalion executive officer and oversees more than 150 cadets in the program. He is a three-time recipient of the Honor Cadet and Outstanding NJROTC Cadet Award, and in 2018 received the Distinguished Cadet Award.

Within his community, Kaiser has logged countless volunteer hours with the Semper Fi Fund’s Kid Camp at Outdoor Odyssey, the Special Olympics, and community cleanup efforts at Prince William Forest National Park, the Rappahannock River, and the Moncure Estates Homeowners Association.

Kaiser will attend the United States Naval Academy. Following his career in the US Military, he hopes to run for public office.
