This elective is offered for motivated students seeking daily participation in weight training and cardiovascular fitness. This course will provide the student with the opportunity to design and implement individual fitness routines specific to his or her needs. Participants will gain a working knowledge of muscle groups and the exercises that compliment them, along with an understanding of how the human body benefits from cardiovascular activity. The course will be held in the weight room while enjoying a variety of additional fitness based activities such as plyometric, speed, and agility drills.
