Remind Service Restored for Verizon Customers

Remind Service Restored for Verizon Customers

Posted:  January 26, 2019

Our high school is pleased to have received, and be able to share with you, news from Remind that Verizon customers will continue to receive text notifications.  An agreement has been reached between Remind and Verizon. There will no longer be a disruption in text message service when a Remind message is sent to Verizon customers.  To view this update, point your Web browser to https://www.remind.com/blog/verizon-update.

Remind is a free communication service that educators can use to send out mass messages to students and parents/guardians without having to know personal contact information.  The service allows end users to sign-up for an educator’s class through a unique code. The educator is then able to send out Remind messages pertaining to course work and upcoming events.  There are two ways that end users can sign-up for a class or group using Remind: text messaging or the Remind app (for Apple and Android devices). Remind is not unique to our high school and is used by schools around the country.  This service has been approved to be used at our high school and is utilized by many of our educators to communicate information in addition to Synergy Class Websites.

We still encourage our Remind users to download the Remind app for a better user experience.  To download the Remind app, select your device platform below:
